Revver- YouTube with a paycheck

June 1st, 2009 by Blake

What a great idea.

few guys created a video sharing site that encourages submissions by rewarding the submitters with a solid chance to make money.

Similar to YouTube, Revver displays cost-per-click ads alongside the video, but Revver splits the revenue evenly with the submitter, thus creating a win-win-win situation.

A fully diversified social network, Revver allows the user to write comments, post video responses, build a network of friends, create customized playlists, and more; but it squeezes competition such as YouTube by sustaining this monetary incentive to its suppliers (which invariably become its user base.)

Why mess around on one site when you can get paid by a similar one?

Already backed by big guns such as Comcast International and Turner Broadcasting, its no longer a matter of success, but just how much success this site will accrue.

How come I didn’t think of this?
